A picturesque house

Friday we had a new meeting at the house in order to discuss one of the walls in the bathroom downstairs. I was very eager to get inside of the house as I’ve not seen it since the electrician has done his job (unfortunately I noticed some weird things we have sent him an email about).

Every room is done in regards to walls and electricity but much left to do of course. It feels a little unreal to walk inside the house and see so much things done and now you can actually see how it will be inside. 11 more weeks to go though! 🙂

We’re currently in the process of deciding on the colors of the walls. The home office and bedroom is decided already as we’ll be a little boring and stick to the choices we have picked for our current apartment. We like them so much we don’t really see a reason why we should pick other/new colors. For the majority of the house we’ll have a white color but the exact white color is not really decided as we need to know that it will suit the trim and door colors already in the house. We should have all these decisions finalized within a week though. At the end of March it’s time for the painter to do his job.

When seeing this view from one of the bedrooms upstairs I actually thought about having our home office here instead. Quickly changed my mind when I realized the sun will be shining in here most of the day.

Our future patio. Looking forward to dining outside for sure!

I’ve previously promised one of my readers to post the floor plan. Sorry for the delay but here is a link to the builder’s official floor plan. Our house is reversed though. The floor plan is in Swedish only so here is a little help for those who don’t know Swedish:
Kök – Kitchen
Vardagsrum – Living room
Matrum – Dining room
KlädvĂĄrd – Laundry
Sovrum – Bedroom
Allrum  – Great room
KLK – Closet
Bad – Bathroom

    Hallo!

You need not to be so anxious about the sun outside your bedroom. Once upon a time there was a beaming sun in Ĺkersberga, but nowadays there is nothing but clouds and rain.
