It’s up!

Today and yesterday they have built the walls of our new house. It has been so exciting to be there during the process. The house does not have a roof yet, that will happen tomorrow, but all walls and the roof truss of the house (and the garage) is up. Here are “a few” photos…

A wall in the air! :) Oh... check out our red front door. Love it!

Day 2

I was so cold yesterday so today I brought my thermo skirt with me.

The walls of our family room. I just love the size and shape of the windows.

Hubby felt like working a little too even though he wasn't dressed for it. :) He wanted to save this birch in order to use as firewood.

Hi Aga! Didn’t know you were following my blog! 🙂 Hope all is well with you. I don’t think I’ve posted the floor plan pics yet. Good idea though! 🙂 I’ll try to do it shortly. Don’t have them in digital form yet. Say hi to your boys!

Catching up on my reading – this is exciting. How much more progress has been made?

Nothing I think, at least nothing which we could see from the outside when we went there yesterday. In two weeks we have an appointment with the electrician at the house so at that time we’ll be able to walk inside as well. Very exciting! 🙂
