Special delivery

Tonight I picked up my dear hubby at the train station. He’ll spend the weekend here with me instead of me going back to Stockholm. As always it’s so nice to see him! There is nothing better than to see his smiling face coming towards me! 🙂

It was actually quite nice to have a full day to work instead of the shorter Fridays I normally have when I go home. I’ve got so much to do right now that the extra hours today was really useful. I think we timed his weekend here very well as the deadlines I and my co-worker has coming in the next two weeks will require me to work extra hard each day so the more hours I can spend each day without thinking of needing to “catch up” due to my traveling hours is fantastic. But now it’s Friday so let’s skip the job talk…

Instead of going to the apartment we took the bus in to town–not sure what to call it really as no matter where you are you are pretty much “in town”–to eat dinner. We found a new place, a Mongolian restaurant, Ghingis, which served an all-you-can-eat Mongolian buffet. As usual that is pretty useless in regards to getting my money’s worth as I don’t eat so much and only take one round anyway. It tasted alright, a little too oily sauces for my taste and compared to the similar places I’ve been to in the US this was nothing but still, I enjoyed it.

Still, it looks lovely. And how nice for M to come and visit YOU insead of you going home each weekend. The time you didn’t spend travelling was well used, and it seems you had a lovely weekend. I love how you always love to live life even when you are really sick and sore from your RA. The Mongolian buffet looked great – I have been to one twice in the past. You select your food and then it gets cooked. The only problem I found was that the sauces they used were really runny and tended not to stay on the food so the food wasn’t as tasty as it could have been. 🙂
