Welcome 2013!

As always we celebrated the beginning of the new year at my parents. We enjoyed good food and fireworks, and the necessary cheer with champagne. Yuck, it’s so disgusting! I took two sips and then gave the glass to hubby…

Table is set!



For appetizer I made two types of mini sandwiches.


My parents prepared dinner, baked beef tenderloin with hasselbackspotatis (a delicious roasted potatoe dish, recipe here).




For dessert I made the Digestive biscuits, vanilla quark and berries combination I’ve talked about in an earlier post.


At midnight we watched our own firework show. This year my brother asked hubby to record it and I’ll post it as soon as he has made it available online!
