The Chinese Terracotta Army

Yesterday morning we remembered that we hadn't visit the Östasiatiska Muséet to see the Terracotta Army yet, and it was the last weekend it would be on display here in Stockholm–it's been here since late August of last year–so we decided to visit it today. 

Before looking at the actual army (10 figures in total and some other smaller artifacts like arrows etc) we went to a 1 hour lecture about the First Chinese Emperor Qin and his Terracotta army. The museum also had artifacts from the Han dynasty which followed the Qin dynasty. It was a very interesting lecture and especially nice to hear it right before the visit.

Earlier today I had my 5th throwing class and I came home with my first finished pottery. Two bowls I'm very proud of:
