We didn’t do much this weekend! As both of us tried to get well from colds we just stayed home watching TV, with just two smaller “excursions” to 1) the grocery store and 2) Hallmark to buy Christmas cards.
The Davis Cup final between USA and Russia was this weekend which means many hours with tennis on TV. First, on Friday we saw Blake beat Youzhny, unfortunately we missed the first match when Roddick won over Tursunov. On Saturday it was up the the Bryan brothers to win there much, which they did, and the cup belonged to USA. Sundays matches wasn’t as enjoying in the aspect of it didn’t matter in regards to the result, but the matches were pretty enjoying anywas, especially Blake vs Tursunov, they really seemed to have fun out there.
On Sunday we usually go to church to celebrate 1st of Advent, but this year I didn’t even consider going due to our colds. We celebrated ourselves at home instead. Since we lit the first candle this weekend it really feels that the countdown for the holiday has started.
