Santa Fe

We arrived home yesterday evening after a weeks vacation in Santa Fe. On our way home we drove through the southwestern corner of Colorado and stayed in Silverton one night before heading back to Denver.

Santa Fe was very nice! Old buildings with lots of charm! Took lots of pictures! We also visited Taos Pueblo, Bandelier National Monument, The Turquoise Trail (although this was more boring than we thought it would be!) and then Abiquiu and Ghost Ranch (also known as Georgia O’Keefe country).

Overall we had wonderful weather, some rain and thunderstorms but they always happened when we were in the car which was perfect timing! 🙂

In Colorado though, especially the pass over to Silverton and Ouray was very cool! I wished I’d brought my jacket, especially way up high and late in the evening. I was freezing!

I’ll try to post some pictures pretty soon!
